  1. 125th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju was observed on 4 July, 2022.
  2. 4 July marks the death anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. He was a philosopher who introduced ideals of ‘Vedanta’ and ‘Yoga’ to the western world.
  3. The privatisation of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL) was completed on 4 July, 2022. It was handed over to Tata group firm TSLP.
  4. Sini Shetty was declared the winner of the Femina Miss India 2022 title. The event took place place at the Jio World Convention Centre on 3 July, 2022. Rubal Shekhawat, from Rajasthan was crowned Femina Miss India 2022 1st Runner Up.
  5. Veteran film director Tarun Majumdar passed away in July 2022. The Government of India honoured him with the fourth highest civilian award, Padma Shri, in 1990.
  6. The Department of Food and Public Distribution has organized a National Conference on Food and Nutrition Security in India on 5 July in New Delhi.
  7. As part of their deployment to South East Asia, Indian Naval Ships Sahyadri and Kadmatt, visited Singapore from 1-3 July, 2022.
  8. Union Minister Jitendra Singh inaugurated India’s first Autonomous Navigation facility, TiHAN at the IIT Hyderabad campus on 4 July, 2022.
  9.  Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi inaugurated the fifth Global Film Tourism Conclave (GFTC) in Mumbai on 1 July, 2022.
  10.  A bancassurance agreement has been reached between the Paschim Banga Gramin Bank and SBI Life Insurance.
  11.  Mumbai lawyer and first-time legislator, Rahul Narwekar has been elected as the youngest Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and also becomes the youngest ever in India to hold this august Constitutional post.
  12.  The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched a digital portal named ‘Pariksha Sangam’ to streamline all CBSE board exams and result related activities for classes 10th and 12th.
  13.  Rajiv Ranjan Mishra and Puskal Upadhyay have authored a new book titled ‘Ganga: Reimagning, Rejuvenating, Reconnecting’ describes the issues faced by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) team during its task.
  14.  Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh announces setting up of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Memorial Award in public administration in field of academic excellence.
